Wren's Cottage

There are five delightful holiday cottages on the Delphi Estate.

The cottages are just a short walk away from Delphi Lodge and are all attractively located in this valley of staggering beauty.

The local wildlife, featuring otters, badgers, pine martens, peregrine falcons and myriad of wild flowers, is exceptional. The cottages are surrounded by some of the highest mountains in the west of Ireland and are also popular with hill-walkers, artists and those in search of a quiet hideaway.

The largest of the five cottages on the Delphi estate is Wren’s Cottage, which sleeps 6 to 8 guests, and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, all at ground floor level. The master bedroom, with en-suite bathroom, features a super king-size double bed. Of the other two bedrooms, one has a double and a single bed and the other has three single beds. These two bedrooms share a bathroom. Each bathroom has a power shower and bathtub.

Don't Take Our Word For It...

“When you stay at Roundwood, you travel in time, to a place where you felt free of stress, free of pressure, free of demands, with nothing to concern you other than what volume to pluck from the library shelf, and what gin to choose for a drink, and what wine to choose to match with Paddy’s excellent cooking at dinner…”

McKenna’s Guides: Top 100 Places to Stay in Ireland

“If Roundwood has just come up in your search, and if you’re trying to avoid a bland, cookie-cutter hotel experience, book it now. You’ll never forget it! The family and the staff are friendly, attentive and kind and you’re likely to swap stories with the most interesting of fellow guests. This is our first visit since we held our wedding ceremony and celebration there 4 years ago and we’ll be back as often as we can ♥️”
