The Garden House, built in the 18th Century is situated amid a Robinsonian style garden, as part of Collon House which was owned by John Foster the last speaker of the Irish House of Commons. The Garden House is furnished in period style and has every modern convenience. On the ground floor the house has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, spacious sitting room, TV/morning room and entrance hallway. The Garden House also has two double en-suite rooms and a two-roomed suite which can accommodate up to six people. If cooking dinner each evening is not in your plans while on holiday then there is an award winning restaurant within walking distance of The Garden House. Housekeeping service available at extra cost on request.

The Garden House, in the midst of the historic Boyne Valley, Newgrange(Bru na Boinne) Old Mellifont Abbey Monasterboice round tower and Celtic crosses, Battle of the Boyne visitors centre at Oldbridge, Slane Castle & distillery are all less than 20 minutes’ drive away. A fast coach service to Dublin enables visitors to the City to have a car-free day. There are also many fine beaches within 20 minutes drive from The Garden House.
